  • Commissioners are district and council leaders who help scout units succeed. They coach and consult with adult leaders of Cubs Scout Packs, Boy Scout Troops, and Venturing Crews.

• Merit Badge Counselor List UPDATED 4-10-2012
  • This is an updated list of Merit Badge Counselors registered 7/1/11 – 6/30/12. We will process applications throughout the year. If your name does not appear on the list and you have submitted the proper paperwork, please contact the council office (850)476-6336 or 773registration@bsamail.org to verify that you are a registered merit badge counselor. In June we mailed letters to registered merit badge counselors requesting they submit the Merit Badge Counselor Form only if they wished to continue serving as a Counselor. If you did not receive a letter and wish to be a Merit Badge Counselor, please complete an adult application and the Merit Badge counselor form and return to the council office.

Click here and enter your unit’s community service hours (be sure to also enter Scouting for Food and Eagle project service hours). Don’t forget to do a service project to benefit your chartered organization (this will help your unit meet one of the requirements for the Journey to Excellence Award in 2011.
