Camp Cards Sales- The cards are selling great! Be sure your unit takes advantage of this fund raiser. Individual and booth sales can add to your unit funds. If you do a booth sale, carry some cards with John Weaver's info. Then if you are asked about scouting in an area other than yours, you have a contact to give them.
WEBELOREE- Council wide event on June 1st-3rd at Spanish Trails. Plan now for your WEBELOS (3rd and 4th graders who'll have just crossed over) to attend this event. They'll get a jump start on learning about camping, outdoor cooking, and what they'll do as Boy Scouts! See flyer and Leader's Guidefor details.

Journey to Excellence- Start the year right by checking out the new JTE 2012 Scorecards! These requirements are measures that will strengthen your unit as you work towards them.
Service Hour Entry- We know units are doing service projects throughout the year. Please take a minute to update your progress. A great way to showcase scouting in the community and cover another JTE requirement.
Roundtable- Monthly Unit Leader Meeting held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7pm, St. Paul Lutheran Church in Niceville. Boy Scout, Cub Scout, and High Adventure program leaders are encouraged to attend. Find out details on upcoming events, fund raisers, and see mini training to help you help your unit. Remember to arrive early for fellowship and networking. |
