A Scout is Thrifty.
He earns his own way to Summer Camp!
The Gulf Coast Council is pleased to announce the 1st year of the Extreme Camp Card! This initiative is designed to help Scouts earn their way to a summer/day camp programs. Units participating in this program will earn up to 40% commission ($4.00) on each $10 Camp Card they sell. The cards will be distributed the 1st week in February through your local District Executive.? The sale will end on May 1st, 2016 giving units three months to sell and close out their accounts. This program is still RISK FREE, simply return any unbroken, unsold cards.
The value of selling Camp Cards:

New Uniform = 32 cards
Resident Camp = 44 cards
New Tent = 60 cards
CS Day Camp = 24 cards
Troop Trailer = 2,000 cards
STSR Summer Camp = 72 cards
40 Scouts each selling 50 cards

Units closing out after May 2, 2016 will only earn 30% on their entire Camp Card account.

Camp Card Commission and Patch Schedule
Units will receive up to 40% commission for all Camp Cards sold IF their accounts are closed by
May 2, 2016(Units will determine how
commissions will be used).
Scouts can be entered into a weekly drawing for
every 25 Camp Cards they sell.
The Gulf Coast Council will conduct a drawing each Friday during the Camp Card sales campaign for $75.00. The drawing will be held every Friday at 4 p.m. Scouts or their Leaders are encouraged to submit On My Honor forms for each Scout that sells 25 Camp Cards. Two forms may be submitted if a Scout sells 50, three forms if a Scout sells 75, four forms, etc. Drawings will begin on Friday, Feb. 12th, 2016.
The Council will provide units with a patch for every Scout that sells 25 Camp Cards. Units can pick up the patches at the Scout Service Center or from their District Executive when they turn in money for the Camp Cards sold to date.
All of the ?On My Honor forms turned in throughout the Camp Card Campaign will be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing for $250. This drawing will take place on May 4th, 2016. (Only Scouts from units that have closed out sale will be eligible for the Grand Prize Drawing)
