This is a list of volunteers that have Youth Protection Training recorded in our BSA data base as of June 3, 2011.  On June 1, 2010, a new requirement was placed on the registration of adult Scout Leaders.  All adult Scout Leaders are now required to have completed BSA Youth Protection Training before their registration forms can be approved.  This training must have been completed with the last two years and must be taken and completed again every two years thereafter.

  • If your name is on this list and you have taken youth protection within the last two years, you are not required to take Youth Protection in order to be rechartered with your unit.
  • If your name is on the list and your Youth Protection Training is more than two years old, you should go to www.myscouting.org and take the class on-line and forward to 773registration@bsamail.org a copy of your completion certificate.
  • If your name is not on this list you are not recorded in our data base as having Youth Protection Training.  However, if you have taken Youth Protection Training within the last two years, please forward a copy of your certificate to 773registration@bsamail.org and we will update your status.
  • If your name is not on this list and you have not taken Youth Protection Training, you are required to take the training before you will be rechartered with your unit.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but the safe guarding of our youth is of the utmost importance.  If you have any questions, please feel free to email 773registration@bsamail.org or call the Scout office or ask your District Executive.  We thank you in advance for your cooperation, patience and understanding as we implement this new BSA policy.
